Runner beans require a suitable support. This could be made with bamboo canes or string tied to a long stick. In this short video, Trevor plants his runner beans with the support of a special "wigwam" made from metal and string.

ie.varieties of runner beans ,broad beans ,french beans......growing condititions....feeding....pest control....if you need some good advice go to a local show and ask the real gardeners.
