Gentlemen, history speaks for itself. Germany was soundly defeated by the Soviet Union, and now Germany is made to forever make displays of shame. All these comments about defeating the Soviets are out of order, the German people lost the war against the Soviet people and that is all. If that was different, then I would agree with you, but it is not, regadless of how much feel-good rhetoric you engage in.

By 1944 the majoruty of luftwaffe was completely destroyed in Russia. That is the only reason of aircraft lack.

No wonder why germans collapsed totally in Belo Russia during summer 1944. Armygroup Center got any aircover at all - only about 40 serviceable fighters against Soviet airforces of 6000 aircrafts. Huge majority of Luftwaffe fighters were in Reich, Italy and west. And already in autumn 43 about 2/3 of german fighters were operationg just against US 8th Air Force.

40 vs. 6000 in Belo Russia. That's why i'll say it in this way - western allies cleared the eastern sky for russian pilots.

Don't forget on all of the new technology, if Hitler waited for a year of 2 he would have more tigers, stürmgewers, better trained troops the heck maybe even jets. And a nuclear bomb.

The only mistakes the germans made in ww2 was the pursuit of very advanced technology(V bombs,Tiger tanks,Puma armored cars,Jet planes) which were of course great but hard to manufacture and very expensive and the fact that they let Adolf run operations as he wished by early 1942.Apart from that the Allies made hell lot more military blunders of the highest magnitude(Anzio,Monte Cassino,Kiew,1942 Invasion of France when the Canadians were butchered,Kasserine,Kharkow 1943,Ardennes ignorance)etc
