Proof of Rebirth

This video is a quick view at what makes rebirth a possible concept. It seems these days not many people believe in rebirth. Especially in the western world rebirth is not neccessarily noticed as fact. Before Christianity, rebirth was common knowledge, everyone believed that they would be reborn on Earth. This was the case up until the First Council of Nicaea convoked by the Emperor Constantine, that the leaders of the Catholic Church deemed the concept of rebirth a thret to Christian beliefs and voted upon the rejection of the concept.

I would appreciate a response to this, if anyone can provide.

Is there a way to remember past lives? I had a supposedly psychic friend once who told me that he could see into my past lives. He told me that this is at least my third life and that I was a man in both of the previous two lives. I don't know about much of it though. It seems kind of improbable to me, but I was raised Christian so this isn't really a part of my cultural background. That's no reason to say it's false, though.

@Cereghini Most of the case studies of Dr. Stevenson were done with children around 4 years of age. Usually they are people who tend to talk about their past lives often at a young age, but they generally tend to stop talking about their past lives as the get older.

However, "past life regression therapy" may allow you to recall past lives. However, there are very few cases which one can regard as 'reliable' in those circumstances.

Thank you for the quick response. I appreciate that. I don't have children so I've never really heard them talk about past lives, but it makes sense that they'd be more able to do so than adults because children have very open minds.

I've never heard of Past Life Regression Therapy, but how does that work? Is it a matter of diving into the subconscious, or is it more of a way to initiate an out-of-body experience in which you can see things that have happened before? I'll look it up.

How do you explain that in Near Death Experiences (and/or resuscitations) that each individual reports the presence of the deity that they grew up with? Christians see Jesus, Hindus see Shiva or Vishnu, etc.

Also, I had a friend who'd been clinically dead and revived and she said there was nothing. It was like a black void. No light, no person, no anything.

How do you account for that?

@composerdoh Yes, in fact I think the type of experiences you are mentioning are usually hallucinations, and easily explained by psychology. Only a minority of cases fit the unusual category.

If someone doesn't experience anything then I'm not surprised. That's what ought to happen isn't it?

The premises for this argument are only 'suggestive' of the conclusion. In fact I think NDEs are pretty poor premises.

Karma and reincarnation goes hand in hand. It is due to once karma some are poor, rich, healthy, weak, brillant, dump, retarded, blind, handicap, suffering and so on. No person in this world remains with injustice. Justice is done to them by nature automatically in their birth cycles. One who is criminal in this life and maybe the current law cannot punish that criminal, but nature will punish him in his next life in the same way that he had done the crime.
