A short, informative video that offers suggestions on things anyone can do to help prevent global warming at home. Corrections: Credits should list Collin Gulczynski as "Producer" and it should say "Jin-Nam Kim" instead of "Jim-Nam Kim."
wow you just got brainwashed and your in a hurry to prove how much you don't know. It's his bill to pay, it's nice to have some ambient noise. those compact light bulbs dont' give the same quality of light and are a pita. recycling actually uses more energy than using raw materials. please don't drink this coolaide. with friends like her who needs enemies???
Great point! There are a couple of great videos on how to recycle the cfls now on YouTube. Keep in mind, we often forget about the many other things that have potential dangers as well: chemical cleaners, batteries, etc. It's not a new issue (Fluorescent Bulbs have been around for decades but not in this demand), but an increasing issue because of increased awareness and usage.
You've got to be kidding! You're so politically jaded, you can't even quote the president of the United States properly. Have you written to him? Or just complained about him behind his back?
CFLs are great but do not break them as they have small levels of mercury in them and if you toss CFLs into the trash you will be dumping all those millions of bulbs with mercury into the landfills and as the bulbs break when crushed into the landfill dirt , many years later the mercury getting into our drinking water. What to do with used CFLs ?
