I have just 1 cricism of this show. while it was very cold last winer in the eastern US, and Europe. Temperatures in Greenland were in the 50sF(10sC), 30 degrees F (17C) above normal.  This is known as The Greenland Block. bringing warm weather to Canada & Greenland & cold weather to nearby areas. Coleman didnt mention that. Heres my theory tho, the melting of the icecaps and warming there is because of that block, It has nothing to do with mankind. Other than that great documentary!!!

Heather Moore is an idiot.

The life of CO2 in the atmosphere basically has no meaning as it slwoly disappears so is measured in half lives (the time to get rid of half of it).

That is about 50-70 years - apparently she dropped a zero off the 5-7 years answer "C"

30% of the CO2 will have been washed out in about 30 years

Another 30% in the next 50 years

And the rest will hang around for upto sevreal hundred years.

Coleman just sits there and does not notice the error!

6. He said the film cannot balme katrina on global warming (it does not)

7. 4 polar bears drowning is insufficient evidence of a proble

8. He said that other factors might affect corals apart from GW, polution for example. The film does not say that.

9. The scientific debate is still open on the casue of Kilmanjaro's galcier retreat.

Wow that negates the whole thing doesn't? No it does not. They are insignificant details.

Who funded the suit? The plaintif refused to say. I wonder why?

9 errors? only the judge refused to call them errors and allowed the film to be shown in schools

1. he failed to give the timescale of the sealevel rise

2. he said that the film showed no evidence of evacuations of island (but hey have occured)

3. He quibbled over the difference between shutting down and slowing down of ocean currents

4. He said the film should not claim a perfect fit between CO2 and global temperatures (it didnt)

5. Lake Cahd is a bad example of cliamte change (agrred)
