It's not funny. Nor particularly interesting. It's just some clips of our car being loaded on to the breakdown lorry on the A75 near Millau. The lovely French motorway services man tells us it's the "turbo". Our car has just 30,000 miles on it. The irony is that last year we broke down in France in the same car - the "gearbox selector" went. That took 19 days to repair. This one fortunately just took 5 days.
If you own a Citroen which breaks down, you'll watch this with sympathy.

  • 212.000 km in mine ..drives like new

  • @meowjcat funny you should say the turbo broke...

after a trip to the snow, my turbo gave way. it wasn't as catastrophic, but it wouldn't climb hills in anything higher than second gear. took it to a dealer who looked at it and said the hoses became disconnected. no charge for repairs, it was covered by warranty.

  • i have this car and haven't had any issues like that...mind you, mine only has 17,000kms on it.

did they give any specific reasoning as to what went wrong?
