N-Gage "Classic"/"Taco" (or the "Alpha" as I refer to it) Promotional Video
Can't remember when or where I got this video. It was certainly before the launch of the N-Gage, and most possibly the best example of a great concept being executed in the worst possible way.
I don't need to repeat the flaws of the device. Nobody seemed to forget them and fanatically slander the QD about it. Even though it was an exceptional phone that corrects all the flaws.
Nokia certainly boned from the very start their possible major gaming breakthrough platform.

I've made that video at 2003 in a big big hurry. I had only one week to make "something nice" and after 7 long days, that was result. Mentionable thing is the hardware i used: poor desktop machine (P600MHz)
That version was made for n-gage launch which was held in London. The video in N-gage cd-rom differs from this so this really is rare footage:))"

Hated this piece of shit. There was only 20 games for it, the battery life was shit and it was a nuisance changing games. It was also ridiculously over priced!

I love my N Gage. The controls suck for games, and I can't even use it as a phone cuz it's not supported here, but man I frigin love it anyway.
It's like the powerglove. So terrible it's awesome ;P

I fucking loved this phone!! MP3 player, radio, it even had a GBC emulator app for it! I used to play Pokemon with it all the time. And Bluetooth FIFA multiplayer was just awesome. Good times man

Funny to see the term "app" used so long ago. I think most people are under the impression that apps stated with the iphone and initial smartphones.
