Ian Plays Singles Points

http://www.essentialtennis.com/ I finally got out to hit a couple tennis balls today! This video shows a few baseline points that Louis and I played after I filmed some specific strokes for instructional videos. Comments are welcomed.

@alzahir haha, I'll get some more points up soon. My backhand drive/topspin shot is definitely my least favorite shot though, I use it sparingly during point play, something I'd definitely spend a lot of time working on if I had it.

@pinnacalada ha funny thing is is that people look way worse on video than in real life. Film yourself, no matter what you think your NTRP rating is and you'll look at least 1.0 rating lower on video. You'll see all your little mistakes and your "great shots" won't look so great on video. If you don't believe me just film yourself.

I think you should use your shoulder more as you shot is all bout the arm which is technically wrong. You have to use the shoulder as it is currently VERY rigid!

Oh God, are there seriously people questioning if Ian is a 5.0 player? The guy played at a very good DII school, people! He's generating a lot of pace and spin on these shots, he's just a good enough player that he can relax his body and it appears that he isn't putting much effort into the shot.

Ian are you sure u are a 5.0 player? or u are just fooling around here? and if this is a 5.0 player a 3.0 player must look really really bad just like me.
