The main point, is that if you watch this video, and try it in a pressure situation you will lose your life, you cannot learn years of techniques and muscle memory training in just a 25 second video, it takes years of training, and even so, a trained martial artist knows that against a knife there is no such thing as an expert due to teh fact there is no second chances, but its the muscle memory of years of discipline and training which saves lives, not youtube videos.

@FlowKio yes but, I have trained in the art of self defence against knives called Eskrima, in literally miliseconds, your body is put through adrenalin (fight or flight system) from which your brain acts on instinct which can cost your life, that is where years of training comes in to connect your techniques into muscle memory, I have learnt after years if someone wants to kill you, they will because they won't threaten, they will stab from behind, you cannot determine that in seconds.

Cause most thieves are usually addicts or people who want quick cash.

And most of the time they have little experience with knives.

So once you factor that, you would stand a much better chance.

It's not what you would do with a knife it's how they would use it.
