  • This guy may be an idiot, but he did appear to genuinely believe the nonsense he was preaching, so I guess I have some sympathy for him. Sure, you'd have to be pretty delusional to believe the Rapture prediction, but then again, you'd have to be pretty delusional to believe the majority of what the world religions say.

  • I wanna feel so bad for him buttt........ I cant seem to do anything except for laugh my ass off... Dude you said you put your trust in the bible.. Now Im a non beliveing agnostic but even i've read the bible and it states that no man knows. Did Campings entire church just skip over that section?

  • Congrats Robert, you're still alive.

  • @davidbrucemusicvideo Robert Fitzpatrick is an idiot that blew his whole 140,000 dollar life savings on ads about the May 21st doomsday prophecy. He was humiliated in Time Square when he realized he blew his savings on. . . uh, nothing.

  • Who the heck is Robert Fitzpatrick? l feel bad for him and hope he's ok.

  • These moderates who were crying Matthew 24:36 as if it were the ultimate knockdown argument against predicting end times are just as deluded as Camping and Fitzpatrick, often to our detriment in specific cases (abortion, federal funding of embryonic stem cell research, preaching abstinence only sex education, etc.)

  • The funniest part about this whole end times debacle is the fact that millions of moderate Christians were saying "Fitzpatrick and Camping are fools you see in Matthew 24:36 it says no man shall no the date." The Bible is self contradictory in thousands of places. They weren't wrong because of Matthew 24:36. They were wrong because the Bible is a fictional allegory in its entirety. Textual accounts of miracles is not sufficient evidence that those miracles actually occurred.

  • Don't trust me trust the Bible! The Bible was written in the pre-scientific 1st century Roman Empire by people for whom the wheelbarrow was emergent technology.

  • Youtube has become an invaluable video documentation tool. Without youtube, this story would disappear in a few weeks, now it will be preserved forever.
