After SM:Tv live and Ministry of Mayhem, live programs with presenters lost their charm imo. A lot of recorded stuff is still great though, I agree! A lot better than American.

Tell me some of them then. The only thing I can think of is Horrible Histories which is fantastic. There's no decent live chat shows however as far as I know. If I'm wrong, tell me! =D

It's a shame they don't make TV like this in the UK any more. These shows were fantastic. I remember dragging myself out of bed to watch this stuff. =)
