  • Just because the Copic Markers have numbers, they are not in a logical color system. They are not classified by value, value 1 through 10 of a color with the chroma noted. Munsell is a system that is best learned. It classifies all colors. I like your chart, but I want to see it done in the Munsell steps. That is something that I think I will do this next month. Where did you get your chart from?

  • This was great. Thanks!

  • Great information, very handy!

  • Great explanation! Appreciate understanding the "logic" behind these non-blending color families

  • I found that problem too! The RV1 series were some of the first I bought, and I couldn't quite use them right. My OC, Purly has pink hair, but the shading really turned out too bright... So I bought RV32~

Btw, I'm a first time marker user~ I just guessed what colors would work right, and most of the times it worked, 'cept for that RV set... XP

  • Thank you much for sharing! Awesome information. I love how you do makeup & Copics! I have a secret obsession with watching makeup tutorials and hauls LOL

  • fun first lesson, thank you katie!
