Start young and win every single judo tournament out there.

I've done it that way. In a dynamic application it can all be much more messy. however this is a fine way to demonstrate the principles of the throw.
No one is defrauding anyone. Your bitterness might be better received elsewhere.

That's why there's an emphasis on randori in Judo. You get shown these demonstrations to see exactly what is going on. During randori and live drills each person has their own preferences etc. These demonstrations clearly illustrate across points. How exactly are you supposed to display a move to students, by practicing randori and making them watch then do? Demonstrations and randori, with intructor guiding, both have there places.

obviously you've never had the pleasure of training with Yamashita however on the 2 times I've been fortunate enough to be on the same mat as him he always illustrates that you over-emphasis the movement in uchi-komi to place emphasis on the required action so that if you only get half of this movement in shiai you still have a good chance of throwing them
