THE LAST 24 SECONDS - Shohoku vs Sannoh (Final Episode)

This custom movie is for those who have only seen SlamDunk on anime. You haven't seen the real ending yet. The anime ended right before the national tournament games.

After that, Sakuragi and the gang left Kanagawa for the Nationals. They first faced Toyotama in the first round. It was a tough match. If it wasn't for Toyotama's lack of discipline, Shohoku would have lost the match. Rukawa played a great part in this match and Sakuragi's training camp jump shots really paid off.

Their next opponent is the former 3-time champions, Sannoh.

The night after beating Toyotama, Shohoku watched the video tape of the match from last year against Kainan and Sannoh. Kainan lost by 20 points. This got Shohoku worried except Sakuragi. He just doesn't know why to be scared.

Meanwhile, Sannoh faced the former Sannoh Team who are All-Stars in College right now. To the surprise of the veterans, the new Sannoh squashed the old Sannoh. They are indeed ready.

Sannoh has never faced defeat which means their fans never felt it too. The day of the competition arrived. Shohoku entered a hostile crowd which treated them as the bad guys. Not a single soul cheered for Shohoku. Although this was the case, Shohoku was focused on the match. Sakuragi opened the match with an alley-oop from Miyagi which surprised everyone. The red headed tensai followed it up with another. Mitsui was guarded by the best defender of Sannoh but he still managed to make 3 consecutive 3-pointers.

Shohoku managed to take the lead at halftime. 38-36.

At the opening of the 2nd half, Sannoh were the first to get to the court. They executed perfect full court press which troubled Shohoku. Sawakita and the gang made the score 36-60. Rukawa is just outskilled by his fellow Ace Rookie and Akagi admits defeat to Masashi.

Coach Anzei's secret weapon, Hanamichi Sakuragi only got better. He rebounded and blocked shots which fired up his team. Mitsui shot three pointers eventhough his body denies him. Miyagi's spirit went up when Ayako wrote "Number 1 Point Guard" on his right hand. They closed in the gap 71-75

It's not over yet! Sakuragi never got the chance to battle it out with Hiroshi! And I'm resolute that Meiho won the Nationals, I mean Hiroshi trashed both Aiwa and Josei! The ending is just horrible to us fans! Stop wasting your time working on different mangas! Continue Slam Dunk damn it!

It was ever found why they stops the series so abruptely?There was of course more on the story,because many characters remains unused,but the story ends after this match...
