I was just there this last summer and i didn't know it. I was on the other side of the cemetery; I stopped to look at Miniature horses playing at a miniature horse farm. If i turned around i could have seen the cemetery ....and If i knew i would have paid respects to her grave.

I find it just so sad yet beautiful that there was this girl who was a star that just set everyone on fire. Everyone wanted to know her.
But when she died, everybody moved on. She went from this crazy fast scene, only to be buried in a cemetery in a small town. With a simple grave. And tucked away peacefully. Kind of seems wrong. But right.
I wonder if anybody of her family visits her? Im gonna go before i die. Edie is like a spirtual figure to me. When i found out about her i was just so spo

@Brendansanatomy You should go! Ballard, and Oak Hill Cemetery in particular, are wonderfully peaceful. As much as I think Edie liked being in the spotlight, I think she probably would be happy to be among the ranches and animals that she grew up with. She's amazing, and she helped me through some crazy periods in my own life. I hope you get to visit her soon!

Wow! Thank you for posting! If I ever get back to California, I will try to make it to Ballard just to pay my respects to Edie. Would you believe that my mom and dad were going to name me Edie when I was born? Not after Edie, but my dad, Eddie. Instead, they named me Lynne. What a drag. I would love to share the name of this beautful person. Thanks again!

@passionateaboutmusic You're welcome! Hey, don't forget, you can always change your name through the courts! I did. I'm now officially Princess Kim. You could be Edie and share that great name!
