Ok, generally speaking I try to be nice. However, John Edward (McGee) irks me so much, that I can't help myself. Cold-reading is one of the oldest manipulations/tricks in the book, and he uses it to con people. It doesn't take more than a minute to see him priming the audience by telling about his own experience, therefore giving people the vague idea that they will have an experience to. Then he says; "Was anyone buried with gum?" - this is the cold question- and by gauging reactions, he finds someone in the audience and asks this woman "leading" questions. If John Edward or any of these tv Psychics had any gifts, they would go to UCLA like Lorraine Warren and put their money where their mouth is. James Van Praagh, Sylvia Brown, and all those "psychic" networks are just as disgusting. I convinced someone close to me to NOT work for the infamous Miss Cleo, and sure enough Cleo was in jail less than two months later.

Have a nice day! :D

  • I don't really believe John Edward, but the person who made this video is just as full of it. "Gum is something everybody chews . . ." Yeah, I'm so sure everybody is buried with chewing gum . . . How he knew this is the question. If I had been talking about it while there, I would have serious doubts that it was from anything psychic.

  • Yes, most people do chew gum, obviously, but nobody that I have known actually places gum in their loved ones casket the way that the guest described. The moment you heard gum, you became a skeptic and I don't even think you heard what really went on in this conversation! How would he have known that? You need to give your left brain a back seat and give yourself permission to be a little more open and less skeptical. Blessings. :)

  • Oh yeah of course.. everyone or at least most people bury someone with a stick of gum.. there was me thinking they usually put flowers in there.. how silly of me.

  • @psychicmediummichele He knew about the gum because they have plants in the audience who have time to talk to other people coming for a legit reading, and this was one of the details they picked up before the show started.

  • he is such a scam artixt... these guyes are fakes.

  • Another individual with very biased, unrational, immature response. Grow up and grow your perception of the world, Shalindriaharam.

  • what a douche those people shouldn't have to get closure from a douche

  • @k0smon What´s your point? Yous just speak in circles

  • @ebrobaru ::: A retired magician is still a magician. He could un-retire at a moments notice.

  • @ shalindriaharam :

    You are pretty ignorant in your take on John Edward. You say something like, "so what, EVERYONE chews gum" - well, if you had listened long enough before opening your closed-minded mouth, you would have heard that he asked was someone "buried" with chewing gum. I have had many, many, MANY friends and relatives pass on and be buried, and I can honestly say I do not know of ONE that who went to their grave with gum in their coffin. Good day.

  • @jazminalise Not really, mainly believers in psychics also believe in Nostradamus and all that nonsense
