No, they cannot shoot him. he was not putting the officers lives at risk. Therfore, lethal force is not permited. If he rushed them with his tractor, they could shoot him

@PaintBallPwnag3 No, they cant. The man was not putting a police officers life at risk, therfore, lethal force is not required. If the man was rushing at the police cars with the tractor, yes, They would shoot him, because the officers are at risk. He was just driving around. non harmful.

Haha... i am glad to know this happened somewhere else. happened in Sullivan, IN on friday night. Started in IL and then fled to indiana. Some 8 wheeled case. Ended up getting stuck in a ditch and ran on foot... didn't fare too well for him with the 15 cop cars around, but one of the officer's left his car running while he chased after the guy and the engin caught the grass under it on fire and completely totaled his own car... lol. I love rural america
