Give me an example of a single one of the "lot more variables" that is actually something you caused and not a factor outside your control? Who decided individual rights should be protected? for what reason? what for? the answer to that is a moral question. America was founded largely on enlightenment morals. Sorry but any way you cut it it's all just a fluke and anyone who has 100x more than another needs to really good justification for such an obscene inequality.

@tonybeir You say that it's immoral to accumulate a lot of money and that the gov't should do something to prevent that. I hope you realize that the role of government isn't to enforce morality (that would be the Dark Ages), but to protect our legal individual rights. Also, in your case, since you inherited your pap's company, getting rich might be genes, environment and luck. However, for most of us, there are a lot more variables.
