LAURA (1944) is Number1 the following are in no particular order: OUT OF THE PAST, DOUBLE INDEMNITY (1944), SUDDENLY (1954), ASPHALT JUNGLE, NARROW MARGIN, THIS GUN FOR HIRE, MURDER MY SWEET, THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW.

  • @MustafaJackson which are the other 9? or atleast your favorite!

  • @opencurtin Just imagine her truck muffler breath and you'll find her much less sexy.

  • Great movie. Kathy Moffat is as lethal as she is lovely.

  • 'OUT OF THE PAST' is one of my top 10 favorite film noirs.

  • so many great voices in those movies and now almost none and we're just talking about the goddam voices!!!! don't get me started on the fumbling mumbling bumbling rest of the current crops

  • By far the best scene in the movie. You don't need to see the rest, but this had me riveted. Mind you I find film noir to be sillysillysilly....

  • Howard Hughes stopped Janes career in its tracks cos she turned him down...

  • one of the 10 best movie in 40 s. jane greer are the best.

  • What is the name of the song heard by the violin player?

  • This was also one of the few villainous roles Jane Greer played. And she's great!

  • That was the best flirting I've ever seen!!

  • @lovejjcpt Hey, just letting you know. The deaf boy acted as a sort of hero at the end, he lied to her so that she would move on with her life. Thats why you see her go off with the Sherif at the end :)

  • i didnt like the ending of the movie. i dont understand y the deaf boy lied to the girl at the end. ]:

  • Jane Greer was age 22 in 1947. She lookes and behaves older...

  • care to upload the whole movie ? ;D

  • IMO the greatest film noir, a work of art.

  • Nobody should be able to get away with that tie. But Mitchum manages it!
