I love Sam's voice...but I dont think this song shouldve been sped up...the slowness is its strength...but Sam's vocal from 1:55-2:00 is superb...if Nat added that, it'd be simply wonderful. Nat gave this song a wonderful touch....Sam's rushing through a love song...I say this as a 100% die hard Cooke fan...to me Nat's was better...

Only very few have been blessed to inherit those extra special vocals that can calm the most severe storm... Sam Cooke is undoubtedly one of those rare few. I just can't feel any otha way, but he's just the GREATEST musician of all-time to me. I haven't forgotten about the otha legends, but there's just nothin that can sway me to believe that any otha was as ill as the soulful Sam Cooke. RIP Sam.
