@Xafred75 That's basically it.Always a popularity contest with Hollywood.Notice how the applause level lowers during the late 70's-mid 80's.I also think one of the reasons they didn't applaud in the beginning was because they weren't sure if they should clap or not.Which could explain why Gone With the Wind and Casablance got no response.In the end,this just shows how phony Hollywood people are,because they don't even know their own history.

very good stuff. The academy is probably going to prepare another video like this next year for the 80th academy awards cerimony.

It's a shame that the Academy ceremony from this year is not presented a video like this...was long and a little boring...well, the good notice was the 3 Oscars to the Fauno..and 1 to Babel...
