OMG brace yourself people AND post your comments after reviewing the whole video, especially the end as this is the most recent review done on Avalon Apartments in Columbus Ohio at this time.

When we looked for an apartment we hadn't seen a review for Avalon Apartments that was less than two years old and for good reason.. people were just that mad or unhappy.

This is a slideshow of many photos that were taken in our actual apartment for the near 13 days we stayed there. You be the judge as to whether it's a good decision to live there or not.

Double locked doors and a person on the property that claimed to parole the property because of people breaking into vehicles. This in my opinion having been duped by their beautiful model apartment walked away from this a MUCH wiser person than I was when I took an interest in this apartment community. Again POST your comments if we've helped give you more insight into this so called resort style apartment community.

Well who signs a lease without seeing he unit that you will be staying in?? Of course the model would look nice. No one lived in it

@sakeena17 clearly we did, just as I'm sure others have too.. however there's a great deal to be said about the fact that this apartment was still rented clearly without any attention having been paid to any level of standard for new tenants coming in. While the mistake may have been made to be stuck with the apt without having seen it before hand, what apartment rents without making it "ready" for new tenants too ?? Not acceptable no matter what the gripe is regarding renting before seeing it.

We are ending our lease too. Our apartment was "good" for move in and everything was fine until we had AC problems. We are with-out AC now for a week and they said it will take 1 to 2 weeks to fix it. I am in the process of getting legal aid help with this problem.The manager and maintanance people are not caring at all, rude and bitter towards this problem we have. It's good you put this up here so everyone can see what it's like. *VIEWERS* DON'T MOVE INTO AVALON!. you will be very dissapointed

@Kiamoko thanks for your reply... wish you all the best and luck in getting out of your lease with them... it's not that hard to do better than Avalon and I know your AC pains.. if the best that you can do is simply suffer for the next 2 weeks without air in what could be considered near peak time in the summer season without any consolation by the management that kind of behavior leaves you with an unflattering perspective for the place that you call home.. thanks for commenting and good luck !

I thought when we moved in here the place was bad. The lady didn't even show up the Saturday that we were supposed to sign in and move in. It looks like you were in building 7 on Westerpool according to your picture of the window overlooking the parking lot. We stuck it out just because we had no other choice financially but once we get a chance we plan on getting out of here. thanks for posting

@pilotbro39 I understand your pain... cost my family nearly 4k between two moves to get out of there. It almost seems like a bad dream at this point but I wish you luck in getting out of there and putting the Avalon experience behind you. There are certainly much better and well managed communities out there for the "same" money. Best of luck to you !

I am a residence in this appartment complex and it's the worst one I lived in, in all of my life. there mangment makes this appartment complex worse than trash. they never fix any problem and their score on b.b.b. is Failed which I now know why!!! every year they say they have new mangment which is not true they just change the name of the company trying to get people stuck their for a year. My advice to all of you looking for a nice place to live in... stay a way from avalon piece of s....
