In Memory of Heath Ledger

Tuesday, Janury 22, 2008, Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment. They found him naked in his bed with pills around him. He had just split up with his wife, he also has a two-year old daughter. For anyone who doesn't know who Heath Ledger is maybe you've seen him in movies such as A KNight's Tale, Brokeback Mountain, and The Brother's Grimm. He was 28 years old.

I didnt know Heath personally so I cant really say anything like I miss him and stuff. But I will say that it is amazing how someone can leave an impression on this world to where even in death you can touch so many people...and you didnt even have to meet one single person. He touched all of your hearts and you didnt know him...all I can say to that is wow. Heath will be missed by people all around the world as if he was their own family member...that is truly an everlasting impression.

@Nguli34689 I was allowed only 500 words here. I need to add that in the 1990s, there were many people dying from mixing Clonazepam with methadone. I remember that these deaths happened on a daily basis with sometimes more than one death per day. The pictures of those who died from this coctail were posted on the walls of the clinic. Because of this, protocols and policies were enacted to forbid the client on the methadone program to take a benzodiazepine concuenty.

I am posting this out of my concern and for the sake of harm reduction:

Methadone programs can help a junkie who really does want help. I know that there are those who abuse these programs and end up making it difficult for those who are genuinely serious. Next, the use of a hypnotic drug along with a narcotic has benbeen used in general anesthesia in a hospital setting where vital signs are monitored. Methadone programs will not allow their patients to take prescription benzo's anymore.

I just got back from seeing Dark Knight and I went through my favorites looking at all of the tributes to make sure I am not crazy, I saw so much life in the Joker to the point where it is so hard to believe he is actually gone.

May he rest in peace and know that we all love and miss him<3 He is still a phenomenal actor<333
