At 1300 hrs on 9/11/11 Station 36 participated in a Nation Wide Event to honor the fallen of 9/11/01. With trucks pulled out and lights on Station 36 hit the sirens on the apparatus for 1 minute in a show of support and respect for the Fallen, We remember the 343 Fallen FDNY Members along with everyone else that lose their lives that day. We would also like to thank the members of the Community who came out to remember with us.

  • This sent chills up my spine.... Hand salute!

  • Dang I got the chills hearing the airhorns but nice video

  • what year is E1?

  • ...we will never forget you....

  • @BGSpotlight I just watched a trailer for 9/11 - The Filmmakers Commemorative Edition looks amazing

  • @gsarjos Yes. I believe it was tower 1. The 2 french brothers are Jules Naudet and Gedeon Naudet. Any of those 2 names should be recognized at the imdb.

  • @BGSpotlight I saw a Doc with those film makers and I think they had footage of one of the lobbies inside tower 1 or 2 , I will have to look for the one you mentioned

  • @gsarjos "9/11 - The Filmmakers Commemorative Edition". It's a doc. giving you an inside look of how one of the stations that were closest to the WTC responded to the disaster. It's really a touching documentary, and it was filmed by 2 french brothers, who initially just wanted to do a doc. on firefighters, but ended up doing a doc. on firefighters who fought the biggest battle of them all, on this day. It's one of those docs. that stand out between all the conspiracy docs. and what not.

  • @gsarjos I am well aware of that, and I respect that aswell. I just find it somewhat comedic that anyone standing close by would most likely not walk away without some kind of an injury to the ear-drums, whether noticable instantly or after a while. Here in Denmark, we also had a day of honor, on the 11. of sep. 2002, with a 1 minute silence in schools, and other places, to show our respect to our allied nation. I still sit down from time to time, and watch a documentary called ... continued

  • @BGSpotlight It's to honor our fallen brothers who perished on 9-11 and it was nationwide
