My favourites of the 90s are 1990, 1994, 1996 and 1997, though in all 90s years I think there were great songs.

I agree. Best contest from 1990-1995. Id say 1998 was the best from 96-99.. so in my opinion thatd make 1998 number 1, and 1993 number 2 in best contests from 1990-1999 :)

I disagree, but the dress is a small factor; plenty of great performers have worn horrible clothes (take Celine Dion). Not only did we bring a particularly strong song that year, we also got the best lighting. ;D

This was absolutely the BEST entry of 1993 (along with the Dutch entry :D). The so should have won at the time! Thank god the Netherlands gave Inga 7 points, even though she deserved 12!
