(Oakland) Assemblymember Nancy Skinner (D-Berkeley), as Chair of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee, led an intensive discussion on climate change in Oakland on Tuesday, December 8. State officials, experts and business leaders discussed numerous subjects, including: implementation of California's groundbreaking climate change policies; the challenges and opportunities for businesses as California transitions to a low-carbon economy; how the growth in green jobs is helping California's economic recovery.
