Hi Jay....you have hit home on this video...I'm 52 and have decided it's time! Although since I live in Wales, I have an 18 month wait for my first appointment for T. Which I don't mind (most of the time) because my Mother will be 88 this year and has Alzheimers...I am very close to my Mother and I don't want to confuse her...I have told her that I am transgender and tried to explain but I feel it's just too hard for her to understand. So...I kinda know where you're coming from....Take care,

@Tatt2butch Sucks they make you have to wait like that. My Mom just turned 88 and we are not close. She however is uber religious, so this conversation will never be had with her. Dad had dementia and Alzheimers. Luckily I never had to have that conversation with him. It really would have broken his heart because he never would have understood. @MichaelBarbee67 Hey happy birthday Michael!!! My ex just turned 45 last week. You should see him grappling with whether to start transition or not. Luckily right now he is involved with another trans man who is in transition, so hopefully he will finally get his shit together mentally and emotionally enough and take that plunge...

@Angielyrica: Arkansas, really.. ;o) I belong to a recently created group on FaceBook, Trans Guys of Arkansas. It's a closed group so you will have to request to become a member. So far it's a relatively active group. I am not sure what kind of physical groups there are down in Central Arkansas, but we have a very active one up here in NWA. We meet up often enough and hang out. Proof positive that we are every where.
