Love Lennon his music & the Beatles.
I also greatly enjoy the Bond movies.
But the two don't mix together in any way shape or form! Like oil & water!
In 'Diamonds are forever' there was never a better singer for it than Shirley Bassey: because she's all about Diamonds and luxury and hedonism.

In fairness....as a massive bond fan and songwriter....to bring lennon to the level of composing a bond theme is one thing...then you get comments like ThomasJeromeNewton...thinking it sounds like live and let die....erm..wonder why?

Like the song, but Bassey's theme and voice in gerneral is a staple in the series. This pales in comparison.
