requiem4massMedia is a satirical snapshot of the Mass media in the midst of Cultural transformation. Roger Water's hauntingly recognizable "Amused to Death" is mashed-up against the pinnacle of mass media - the Super Bowl. Familiar iconic imagery from consumer society floats atop Water's emotional tsunami like flotsam and jetsam. All commercial images used in the making of this mashup were captured directly to a digital camcorder from satellite during Super Bowl XXXVIII on February 1, 2004.Tune in as the Mass media amuses itself to death
