  • Hello KennyChumsky, I have a question for you on that ring with the Copper in it Iv'e done two fans already the ring with the copper I had noted the the ring had metal in the inside of ring & aluminum in the outer-side of ring what would you classified this as?

  • @xIntoThePitx one way to find out will be to smash it with a hammer or cut into it the inner metal will tell u what it is remember u get paid for the metal not the finish!

  • i been scrapping for a few yrs now and i came across ur video where u were taking apart a ceiling fan u used to just scrap it but after ur video i been taking them apart to get the copper thanks for the videos!

  • @xIntoThePitx My guess would pot metal, but maybe you will get lucky and they will be white brass. When in doubt put it in with the brass and let the scrap yard point it out to you, or just separate and ask the yard their opinion.
