Backbone, one of the first generation members of the Dungeon Family, recently spoke with The Remix about the legendary group, his solo career, and his current projects.
The Dungeon Family is home to some of the biggest groups in hip-hop history, Outkast and Goode Mob. Backbone broke down the history of the group and how they got together with Rico Wade and Organized Noise. He also talked about his debut album from 2001, Concrete Law, which featured the smash hit 5 Duce - 4 Tre. He also was very candid about why he didn't release any albums with Universal after that.
Backbone is currently working on his new album and he's helping to put together a gospel album. He's also been coaching football for Ben Hill.
