two different genres true but when i looked at that song from michaels and freddies i preffered mj's. his voice appeals to me more and i like his meaningful, variant power and emotion he brings to songs thats my opinion now can we leave it at that

michael was propably the best pop singer and dancer but freddie was the best rock singer and entertainer. two different genres, two different singer. listen to "there must be more to life than this", michael didnt had enough power in his voice for that song
