this music is a relic from the raj. its come through generations that served britain, and the indians still use it as part of their culture. we should be humbled that they still want to do that. not edinburgh castle but, pure entertainment. thank you india.

@flautist02 Because the link between Sikhs and Scots goes back many hundred years. First Sikhs arrived in Edinburgh nearly 400 years ago. Unfortunately, in today's xenophobic UK, most people have forgotten that India shares more with us then most of the europe.

I'm coming from a Scottish piping perspective but louder chanters would help the ensemble a ton, the drums are way too loud and you can't hear the melody

make that six that disliked the video...... lol, I've seen grade 5 legion pipers completely smashed sound better to a sober ear. its stuff like this that make people think bagpipes sound like someones throwing around a bag of cats.

I doubt any exists! Indian musicians generally don't use it; they learn from ear or by rote.
