Deepak Chopra and Leonard Mlodinow on Consciousness

These two authors jointly wrote a book on Science and Spirituality called War of the Worldviews. Deepak is known as an apologist for Religion and spirituality and often argues about God. In fact, it was at such a debate that he met Leonard Mlodinow who is a Quantum Physicist and atheist. This excerpt is from a discussion chaired by Timothy Shriver at the Sixth and I Synagogue on October 6, 2011. The event was primarily to promote their book although this section is a spirited back and forth on consciousness, the mind, spirituality and the scientific view of these things.

Of course I think you're wrong. That was clear. My reference was intended to point out your lack of articulateness and education, and therefore call the validity of your "opinions" into question. I said nothing about the validity of having opinions in general.

@tatiana30241 wether I put it in or not, it is still only an opinion,I'm not trying to ram a statement down your throat.No one knows any more than anyone else, Deepak only presents a world view but scientist believe all the answers can be achieved through observation. btw, by using "buddy" sarcastically and by saying "pretty much says it all" means that you actually think I'm wrong too which is also an opinion, pot called the kettle black?!

How can you argue against Deepaks comments?! Leonard is a great guy but I think the longer this argument goes on between the two the more Leonard is struggling to argue his case IMO.
