Collateral Damage - Afghanistan

Following the Oruzgan killing of an Afghan family, three Australian soldiers now face a court martial. How could a family with 6 children have been slaughtered? To date there is no evidence any were associated with the Taliban.

Maintaining to this day that they were innocent civilians, the families of those affected by the raid are fuming that their names are still being dragged through the mud. Shortly after the attack, local man Shipiro said, "I asked the interpreter what they said, he said they made a mistake. Instead of the house on the hill, they attacked us". Many questions remain unanswered surrounding what actually happened that fateful day.

AUSTRALIA has over 150 years of Afghan history much of the interior was opened up by Afghans they introduced Islam, built railways, introduced camels, traded with remote desert communities they dont hate the Afghan people.

Accidents happen in war these soldiers were fired upon and returned fire in a very difficult situation, the women and children were used as shields in a darkened room.

@meringandan help to restore a democracy upon an islamic people who dont want it, we dont recognise the people as soverign , as a muslim I only recognise the authority of the divine creator. so it is really wrong & bad for anyone to force democracy upon me or anyone else.you aint no champions of human right ot women right, please take a look in your own backyards with all the prostitution, sex workers, pornography sexual abuse, exploitation & immorality that takes place.

@harrysafraz Hardly, they are there to help restore democracy and the rights of women which were denied under the talaban, What were they supposed to do when women and children were used as human shields during a fire fight in a darkened room.

We have a proud history of helping the oppressed peoples and they are fighting an opponent with no respect for basic human rights and dignity and basic rules of engagment (you dont use women and children as shields)
