@GeeSlimmy1972 you cannot use bigger than 1 Gb Ccompact Flash cards with the sp 404..
don't know about the SP 404 SX, though. I guess now you're able to use greater capacity memory cards

this will come in handy !

Where can I get a 404SX for the cheapest price?

Thanks a lot, this was a big help.

I wonder if the guy who you learned this from is THE flying lotus.
-
this is just so you can take a pattern you made and save it elsewhere?

Great trick. Do you have to put the pattern you want to copy on the internal memory? Is there a way to do the same trick on the C-J Banks without using the internal memory?

Nope, no way to do it without using the internal memory, as far as I know

Of course it isn't... its a trick shared by a guy who had flying lotus as a nickname on the mpc forums...I simply did not want to appropriate the trick as mine...Hopefully you did bring some useful comments on this video ! thank you so much !

Nice tip.. I noticed that I cannot load a 2GB Sandisk flash card. It doesn't even read it. I'm using a 512MB Sandisk card for now.. Also it's very picky about Wav and AIFF files. They have to be 44HZ Stereo and 16 or 8bit. I tried a wav mono and it was throwing the Uns message at me. Any other tricks?

As long as I can remember wav mono can be imported, the names of the files are important though. You may want to chekc my other video... more is coming
