As a mathematician, I have to put in a good word for Muslim mathematicians who did develop and systematize arithmetic, algebra, and spherical trigonometry, while continuing to develop irrational numbers and conic sections (the mathematics behind parabolic mirrors and lenses) beyond the Greeks.

In fact, the word "algorithm" is named after al-Khwarizmi because he invented the notion of algorithms.

So if these folks didn't invent the math they did, you wouldn't have the math/physics to make cars.

@AnimePhreak786 Mathematics and algebra was developed way before Christ or even the prophet mohammand was born. Most of the others were addations or refinements of exixting inventions. Where are the Edisons and Fords? The bulk of our modern conviences were invented, developed and marketed by white American Christians. Without us, the world would be in the dark ages. Also, nothing was ever develped in the Islamic world. Zip zero nada.
