  • Wait a minute, does this mean Rodimus is no longer leader all of a sudden?

  • @centrella Let's just say he's a presence in "The Rebirth", but he's no longer Rodimus Prime.

  • wait is this the last episode?

  • @AdventuresEnterprise No. In the U.S. it's followed by "The Rebirth". In Japan it's followed by "The Headmasters".

  • in my oppinion, THIS should have been the last episode.

  • What upsets me is that there are TF characters that disappeared after being infected by the Hate Plague and we never see them again, 1. Predacons 2. Sky Lynx 3. Blaster 4. Steeljaw 5. Wreck Gar 6. Stunticons and characters not infected aren't seen again 1. Perceptor 2. Springer 3. Dinobots 4. Jazz 5. Soundwave 6. Omega Supreme 7. Trypticon 8. Metroplex That's a real kick in the pants. Then end the series with a 3 part called "The Rebirth" which left a real bad taste in me and everyone's mouths.
  • @dsdan83 I still say, given more time, Rodimus could have gained confidence and proved just as good if not better than Optimus.

I mean, I think a lot of people forget that he IS the chosen one. The matrix chose him to be it's bearer, and they even gave a whole episode to him accepting his 'obligation'.

Personally, I don't like it. I thought the kid had great potential, and destiny to back it up. i think he just needed a bit more time to settle into the role, but that's just my opinion.

  • @centrella

rodimus was not as pragmatic as prime which was a refreshing change. however, he struggled with the burden of being leader right up until the last 2 eps of season 3 which is "the return of optimus prime". near the beginning of this double ep, that part where rodimus is standing by optimus' statue is quite telling. in the end though, at the ending of the ep after optimus forcibly took the matrix from rodimus 'n all, i think both were content with optimus being leader again.

  • @AeonMagnus Aw, but i actually liked Rodimus Prime. They didn't even give him enough time to finish his 'I'm not as good as the guy before me' character development.

  • the matrix is a music box

  • @mrmandude3652 No, its not. But if it's the only way to end it, then I will.

  • come out, come out, does optimus wanna plaaaaaaayyyy yeah!! i can recite both episodes in my sleep.
