Every year, tens of thousands of women, men and children travel through Mexico without legal permission. As "invisible" migrants they head for the US border in the hope of finding a new life far from the poverty they've left behind. Their journey is one of the most dangerous in the world.

  • @TremleyPoint1: Your ignorance and bigoted hatred is disgusting and a shame to the U.S. The U.S. was built off of immigrants who stole it from the indigenous peoples of these lands. The people you would dehumanize with your remarks are actually some degree of indigenous to the lands now called the Americas. They were here before the borders. You would begrudge them for the same reasons your ancestors came to this country? Do you see how hypocritical that looks?

  • @TremleyPoint1 althought you have a certain point (i'm trying to be generous since i don't agree with illegal immigration) your ignorant, racist comments completely overshadow any point you might have. if you'd actually try to broaden your mind a bit, you might understand their situation. i was just reading about a man that earned $5 a week in a village in guatemala, compared to $700 a week working a farm in CA. if you had a family to support- wouldn't you do whatever possible to reach the USA?

  • what a terrific video. i'm an american living in northern mexico and lately stories like this have been all over our paper. the problems these immigrants from latin and south america face as they travel through mexico towards the usa is really tragic. i've been so heartbroken as i've read some of their stories and wondered why their stories haven't been told in a broader fashion. thanks for bringing this to light!
