I had this display laying for years, not having the MP3 player it was meant for, i wanted to use it for something cool, so it's gonna be used on my Makerbot 3D-printer for interfacing it. Here you see the display connected up to an Arduino Mega - deciphering the pinout of the connector in the back was pretty tough, and i'll share it here for other viewers if they want it.

Buttons: Common GND.

  • Whoa! I'm gonna have to bookmark this one just for the pinouts... That could be extremely useful! Could you also tell me which pins you hooked up to which I/O on the Arduino? I've got one as well and want to experiment ;p

  • @AK49BWL I just used the suppled Liquid Crystal example, connecting the LCD to Pins 12,11,5,4,3,2 and tied R/W to ground. - Nothing special :-)
