Heard of the guild of travellers? In the scene, when they show lunshire's daughter being taken by the Guild of Travellers( family reunion scene only when you succeeded in the queen Florence murder quest ) you can see, that they dressed up way better to survive the cold outside.

Not sure if you guys have noticed this door is on the edge of the level, and does not have anything behind it. It's just something nice and distracting the developers put in there :)

Its funny how your freeze to death considering SPOILER: The ending cutscene shows huts on the surface wth lights on and people/vehicles outside the huts. not to mention that if a tavlers guld can survive, why can't the guardian lol.
