*Laurana is driving Heather and Mac home.*
Laurana: So what were you guys doing on the deck?
Mac: Oh, nothing.
Heather: Oh, really. Then what's that you're playing with around your neck?
Laurana:*not seeing this because she is driving.* Oh, he got you a necklace.
Mac: Yah, it's a heart locket, and he's got the key.
Laurana: Oh, how cute. I don't know how we're going to survive without those boys.
Heather: I know they'll be gone for months.
Mac: Their next show here isn't until right around my birthday. Actually I think it's the day after.
Heather: And I'm not going to be here.
Laurana: We'll have to fly you home.
Mac: Yah, it won't be the same without.
*They all sit in silence the rest of the ride as Laurana devises a plan.*
*Days and weeks go by through the end of school. The summer begins and the girls spend most days together. And everyday or so they would get a call from one of the boys. One sunny July day the girls are sitting on Laurana's trampoline licking popsicles when Laurana's phone rings. Mac and heather are laughing at their dripping popsicles as Laurana answers her phone.*
Laurana: Hello?
Kevin: Hey you, whatcha doing?
Laurana: Oh nothing, just sitting on the trampoline with Mac and Heather licking popsicles. You?
Kevin: oh good you're all there. Actually we're standing right outside your house.
Laurana: *screaming* WHAT!?!?
Mac: Oh my gosh Laurana what is it?
Laurana: *ignoring her* I thought we'd planned this for next week.
Kevin: Well we discovered we had this week off instead of next, because Joe is really bad with calendars.
Joe: *yelling in the background* Am not. I just got the dates mixed up.
Laurana: Well why am I still on the phone with you. Get your behinds back here. *hangs up the phone*
Heather: Who was that?!
Laurana: Oh, you'll see.
*Just then Kevin, Nick, and Joe walk into the backyard.
Heather: Oh my Jonas! *leaping off the trampoline throwing her popsicle across the yard and running to Joe. She tackles him to the ground.* Why didn't you tell me you were coming?
Joe: It was a surprise, and really hard to keep from you. So Surprise!!
Heather: Oh thanks. *getting up but Joe pulls her back down and kisses her.*
*Meanwhile Nick walks over to the tramp, gets on and hugs Mackenzie*
Mac: I can't believe you are here. I had no idea. So how longs are you here for?
Nick: Sadly only a week, but we have a huge surprise for you girls the last day we are here.
Mac: Oh, really I can't wait.
*Laurana is already off the tramp and is now in Kevin's arms.*
Laurana: I'm so glad you're here. I've missed your hugs.
Kevin: Me too, I've missed those gorgeous eyes of yours.
Laurana: Oh thanks. *they continue to hug and Kevin kisses her on the forehead.*
Laurana: *turning out but still holding onto Kevin.* So what do you guys wanna do tonight?
Kevin: Yah, *checking his watch.* It's only 4.
Mac: How about a movie?
Laurana: In or out? Oh what am I saying, in of course. I'm broke anyway. And we could watch it in my basement.
*Heather and Joe get up.*
Heather: A movie sounds good but you know what sounds even better?
Joe: *excited* what?
Heather: A movie Night.
Nick: Sounds good.
Laurana: Okay, but I'm hungry. How about you guys get some snacks and me and Kevin will go pick up some movies.
Mac: Okay. *now whispering to Nick* She just wanted to be alone with Kevin.
Nick: *whispering back* I know.
Laurana: *yelling at Mackenzie as her and Kevin turn and walk away hand in hand.* Secrets don't make friends!!
Mac: *yelling back* yah but friends make secrets!
*So a Surprise, I wonder what that may be.*
