Postal Demonstration - Dog Bite Prevention

Fred Hassen, Luciano Aguilar, Juan Aguilar and Miguel Vendrell of Sit Means Sit in Whittier, CA. U.S. Postal Letter Carriers are the subject of numerous dog bites a year. As a community we need to do our part and secure our dogs hopefully limiting the injuries to the innocent. In this video we are there to give tips on how to prevent getting bit.

I can't understand why someone would be offended. This was a closed event for U.S. Postal Letter Carriers (no public). They have been doing their job for more than a week I'm positive. I'm sure in more than one occasion they've had to ice their sore muscles. I think we do need to educate the public on reponsible ownership though. Put your dogs away for 5 seconds so your mail can be delivered.

I find it offensive that these 'people'(the ones laughing behind the camera) think it is FUNNY that their dogs hurt us. Do this job for one week, then after you ice your sore muscles, tell me how funny it is when a dog comes after you.
