debbie is such a sweet lady,my sweet sixteen was a singin' in the rain themed party and my aunt and grandmother contacted her website(which is run by her grandson) and they asked her if she could send an autograph to me, she said she would be happy to do it. she sent me an autographed promo picture of her and gene and she wrote me a little letter=)

@warriorrabbit17 She was like 18, 19. When they did the Good Morning Number, they did it like 40-something times straight I think and Debbie passed out after that. She was bed ridden for 2 days after that.

Watch her old movies....she was beautiful (still is) and so talented. Check out the musical MUnsinkable Molly Brown (a true story). I saw her in the play "Irene" on Broadway in the 70's. She also had a great voice...what a lady.

Debbie is lovely. Her sense of humor is tops. I can't believe she was just 17 when she did Singing in the Rain. Wow!
