I'll never forget riding the bus to high school after listening this and other songs on this album. Just thinking how the sound was all made for us--and we for the music. Those days are far cry from today. You've only to listen . . .

This is a bad jam that I haven't heard in so long...I forgot that I owned this very album. Another reminder for me to record my albums onto a more durable format before gems like these are lost to time. Man, these cats were really harmonizing, and I really dig the jagged, syncopated rhythm. To think that music like this used to be on the radio (in D.C., at least) all the time back in the day. When they stopped playing music like this, I stopped turning on the radio.
