Arlington Heights FD Diver's Box Sunset Meadows II

SAT SEP 13 2008 -- (Part 2 Video) Arlington Heights Fire Department 2nd Alarm Diver's Box with special request from Division Three for extra divers and equipment. Male, 29, from Rolling Meadows swam in retention pond, submerged and did return to the surface on his own. Call for help before 1pm and body discovered about 4:15 pm at bottom of Sunset Meadows retention pond.

Video shows recovery operations, especially communications between firefighter monitoring SONAR image, who relays information and instructions to a firefighter in a boat directly above a diver. The firefighter in the boat relays information and instructions by voice and hand signals to another firefighter who relays the information and instructions to the diver searching for the victim directly under the boat.
