    In the future, the 9-3 classroom will be a thing of the past. Students will mix nd match work experience, apprenticeships and academic learning.

    Secondary Education needs changing allright.... it seems designed to produce clones who just parrot what the teacher says. especially re social and econmic issues... teachers live on another planet, usually have little or no real world experience. Too much academic cramming and not enough creative problem solving on the part of the kids - need more outdoor camps, time spent in companies, executives giving talks at school. you shld not need a "teaching degree" which is a joke anyway.
