  • The crime is not bad, the malls are okay. One is REALLY nice. Police are pretty nice (OKC, that is), food is diversified, and the politicians... jury is still out on that!

Still a great place to live!

  • Tulsa is a great place to live also!

  • I spent a little time in Lawton Oklahoma. I loved it, and the people were top notch.

  • I used to wonder why on earth would people move to Oklahoma. Then I joined the Navy and saw both the West Coast, the East Coast, and beyond. Didn't take me long to understand why people were moving to Oklahoma and I couldn't wait to get back.

  • Okc is awesome as is Tulsa but Tulsa has crazy drivers.

  • @mithistrue I remember Crossroads when it was nice. Sad. But I remember Shepard Mall, and the ice cream place, and the guy playing the organ in the middle of the place. Yeah... I'm that kind of old! We hung out at Shepard Mall when I was a kid!!!

  • @superdave2112 if you remember Crossroads...

  • I lived in holdenville for a while also..

There it's kind of sucky , just like 2 pizza places and little houses except the one big house on the block..

    OKC is better :)

  • Frakshaw44,

Hey, I saw your note. Question: I thought Ventura County is supposed to be a wonderful** place to live. Why would you relocate to Oklahoma? **I am being slightly ironic---I know the county well, but I would like your perspective.

PS: I have found Oklahomans to be highly intelligent, friendly, and more courteous than the average Kaulifornian........

  • Oklahoma is heaven.=)
