It was about 5 minutes before the show started and a crowd of people had already taken their place around the stage. Feeling a sudden pain in the pit of my stomach, I shoved my hand into my pocket, grabbing a few of the tiny pills that I managed to bring with me from new york. I didnt want to be nervous. Especially in front of those hot girls backstage demi and selena? Yeah. But mostly demi.
I downed the pills quickly, shaking my head, and stepped backstage again. Joe and taylors band was set to the side and my crew was setting up my instruments. Aerosmith was playing in the background to fill the room with constant noise as the lights went down and everyone began to yell and scream. I smiled, grabbing my mic, and walked out on stage.

After singing a hell of a performance [the girls went CRAZY!!!] I took a swig of my water before singing a couple more songs. Then I introduced their band.
*alright everyone, now you may now know them, but ive got with me tonight a pretty tight band. Their currently nameless but they still rock. Everyone say hello to my friends!!* I smiled and waved everyone goodbye, moving out of the way of their band.
*taylors POV*
Okay, so this was the plan:
I was going to play guitar with our normal songs as well as the drums, but tonight demi is gonna sing a duet with joe and nick. And since I gotta play the base for that song, nick is gonna have to play guitar which I know he ripps at. It will be a beautiful performance and help demi perform with both. Because now that I realize, their all hurting from this whole choosing thing. So they should all settle as friends, right? And move on. That way everyone can sleep well tonight and the band wont go down in flames because of demi and joe.
I started walking towards demi to tell her. She didnt say anything, and she just remained quiet. I raised my eyebrow.
*whats wrong, dems?*
*ugh. You know the stuff going on. * she smiled and gestured towards the stage before she was about to walk on, faking a laugh.
I suddenly felt a serious pain in my stomach, which was strange since all I had today was a salad. And some of jesses mints. Which I stole. But whatever. I rushed to the bathroom, bumping nick.
*dude, are you alright?*
*I feel kinda queasy oh god.. youre gonna have to take over for me, man..* I held my stomach tightly before running into the bathroom and my vision got extremely hazy until everything was blurry. What the hell was wrong with me??
*nicks POV*
How am I supposed to take over taylors spot!!
I MEAN SURE,
I know every one of their songs by heart since joe plays them all the time at home. But was it really my place? I dont know. I ran onstage, joe glaring at me. I shrugged quickly and mouthed to him that taylor was in the bathroom.
Im guessing joe couldnt do much after that, since jesse riled up the crowd. I gulped.
Oh god. My hand shook as I grabbed taylors guitar which was much like my own- I felt alittle more comfortable when I placed it over my shoulder. I turned around and winked at demi. she smiled and waved to me. and then I smiled back and you guys probably dont want to hear all this gushy stuff. UGH.
So anyway we started playing for jesse after he introduced us. We were actually pretty good for our first time live.

The show was amazing. I didnt really pay attention to joe, and I was kind of awkward at my mic at times, but demi and I had a really great time together. But we all hurried off stage to make sure taylor was okay.
