This is a 'long song' - a song where all of the words sung are much more drawn out than they would be even in very slow singing normally. The tone of these songs is usually sad and melancholic.
When we were in the South Gobi, we saw a Mongolian music group. After having seen the performance, we decided to try and work towards bringing them over to the UK for a couple of weeks next summer so that their talents and Mongolia are better appreciated. More details about this will come soon.
Quite taking...beautiful voice and culture...

Do you mean like when her voice changes, kind of like tremelo but slower, and changing between like an alto and soprano voice? I can do that, but I'm still learning! I was born in Mongolia, and still speak Mongolian, but I moved to the states when I was 5. I hope I can learn more about this! :)

Although she is very young, her voice is so powerful. As I grow older the sound of our "urtyn duu" (long song) goes deeper and deeper to my heart.
